    Review: Advanta is the WORST CC provider on the planet. They will JUMP at the chance to invoke the default APR (29.99%) and will not accept ANY reason to revert back to the teaser rate, even with a letter from a bank explaining that the fault lay completely with the bank and was not the cardholder's fault in ANY way. And....what is even worse, they string you along, promising to submit your case for review by an "account specialist". After MANY calls to find out why the review process was taking weeks on end, I finally received a letter announcing that my APR would by 14.99%, with no reduction to the teaser 0% rate and no refund on the userous finance charges which accumulated during the lengthy appeals process. Anyone having ANY problems with this despicable company would be best advised to "cut bait" right away, 'lest good money go after bad. My experience with this outfit cost me almost $1000. BTW, my credit rating is above 800. I only wish I had never even heard of ADVANTA, or at least, dumped them at the first sign of trouble
